There are a number of ways to find your way around Price by Price.com:
The main navigation menu is positioned in the left-hand panel, and contains links to the main sections of the site. Selecting one of the main headers, like ‘credit cards’, expands the menu to include every option for that item. Furthermore selecting an item under a main header will display a set of results, or will navigate to other content such as product specific news.
We also use a popular technique known as a ‘breadcrumb trail’. These ‘crumbs’ are displayed near the top left of the page, just below the logo. Next to the ‘You are here:’ text is a trail showing where you are within the site, indicated by a small blue arrow above the current page title. It shows the path through the tree of pages from the home page to the current page, and you can navigate to previous pages by selecting the relevant links.
The panel on the right hand side is known as the ‘Results from...’ panel, and contains a list of popular brands. If you are interested in the products a specific brand may offer, just select the brand name and a list of the products available from that brand will be displayed.
The Site Map: our Site Map lists every page in one easy-to-use place. Using the Site Map gives you a full idea of what we offer, and gets you where you want to be as quickly as possible.
The central panel contains the main content of the site, and usually consists of results tables, product details and other information. The home page and the main product pages offer you quick ways of getting to the most popular results.
The header: the links at the top right of the page contain some of the most important topics on the site, including links to Site Help (this page), About Us, Site Map, Feedback. The header also contains a button to take you to our eNewsLetter page, where you can sign up to receive eNewsletters about product releases, market news and special offers.
The footer: the links at the bottom of the page cover our legal bases, including our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
You can see a side-by-side comparison of between two and five products by selecting the ‘Compare’ checkboxes in the first column of the results table. Tick the checkboxes for products you want to compare (up to a maximum of five), and select the green ‘Compare’ button at the bottom left of the results table. The resulting page will show each of the products you have selected, side by side, with the key details for each product.
To help you find the products you are looking for, we have selected some of the most popular features for each type of comparison, and included them in our filter controls. Just select the ‘filter your results’ button on a results page, choose the features you are interested in, and select the ‘Filter’ button. A new set of results will be displayed, together with a new ‘Features’ column, showing how each product matches your selected features. The results will be sorted so that the products that have the most features matching your selection are at the top.
To help you find the products that best meet your needs, you can sort the most important column – credit card interest rates, for instance – in both directions. Just select the arrowed ‘sort’ buttons next to the column name to change the direction in which results are displayed.
You can apply for a product whenever you see the ‘apply’ button, most commonly in the results tables. After selecting the ‘apply’ button, a new window will open. Depending on the application options available, you will either be redirected to the product's site, or will be presented with application options and details.
We have made available four different accessibility options for this website near the top right hand corner of every page. These options allow you to:
1. Reduce or enlarge text size.
2. Convert every page on this website to be displayed in high contrast.
3. Vew this website as text only.
If you are not happy with any of these options you can go back to the original display by selecting the 'return to default' link situated just above these accessibility options.
